Hi, there.

I am wondering if there’s anyone can tell me the difference(s) of massive, critical, substantial, burly, sizable, towering, resounding, hefty, voluminous, and gigantic.

I am not really able to differentiate them in sentences. I also need some examples for them.

Where did you come across those words? Since the always occur in context it would greatly help if posted entire sentences rather than separate words.[YSaerTTEW443543]

Dear Mr Torsten,

I found those words in an exercise book. There were 10 questions and each blank had to be filled with the suitable word. I got confused because I found that the options from massive-gigantic could sometimes be used in several numbers of the questions.
