'Email appended below' versus 'Appended below email'

Could you please tell me which one of the following sentences is correct and natural?

1- Appended below email is self-explanatory.
2- The email appended below is self-explanatory.

The second sentence is correct, Tom, though I’m not sure about ‘natural’. Personally, I would just write: ‘The email below is self-explanatory’ – ‘appended’ or ‘attached’ sounds a bit too formal to me.
