each day vs first day vs from the time

Then use the new words as often as you can _____ you learn them.

A. each day
B. each day when
C. the first day
D. from the time

I know D is correct. Could A be possible?

Many thanks in advance.

.
Not A, because (hopefully) you need to learn a word only once. However, C is possible.
.

C. the first day
D. from the time

Thank you, but I was taught ‘the first day’ means something like ‘as soon as’, how can ‘the first day’ be possible here? Could you please explain it to me?

Many thanks.

.
The first day just means ‘the first day’. If you learn the word ‘egregious’ on March 31st, then use it as often as you can on March 31st.

Not a very practical option, but certainly grammatically possible.
.

Got it. It’s a great help.

Thank you again.

the correct choice.
