Is this right in some cases I used to say something like:
It is ok, dear.
Don’t worry, dear.
Yes, dear.
oh, one more thing, is the sentence right?
Wish you have happiness, luck, success, and money in THE new year.
I mean that in this sentence is it necessary to add an article “The” or not?
Many thanks.
Is it okay dear.( to me this is used in a more friendly way, if you want to ask the person if she/he is content with something at all)
Don’t worry dear. ( this is also used to produce some emotional strengh in someone).
Yes dear. ( this used for friendly consent).
To me they’re all correct but are context dependent.
Not a tutor! THE is a difinite article(which is used to make a specific indications).
e.g. The boy, the school, the meseum, the red car. etc, etc.
So in (THE new year) is implicitly correct.
In addition, you should only use ‘dear’ to certain groups of people. It is not appropriate in all cases.
I would not expect it to be used to someone you did not know very well.

Yes it’s necessary to add THE.
