does that sentence make sense?

Hello there!
I wonder if this sentence makes any sense. Maybe I need to change its structure…

I cannot get offended, I forgive you because I know - at one point I could offend you and you didn’t forgive me.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

I am a poor reader, but this is how I interpret the meaning of your sentence:

“I feel very bad because I once offended you and you never forgave me. I value our friendship so much that no matter what you say or do, I will never be offended and will always forgive you.”

“I value our friendship so much that no matter what you say or do.”
Is this sentence correct? Please confirm.
Thanks.

It’s not a sentence.
James didn’t use it as a sentence, he used it as part of a sentence, where it makes perfect sense.

I see. Maybe you can correct it so that it’ll be a proper sentence. The explanation is perfect but I’d like to make my point in one sentence.

You could say this:

I will always value our friendship, regardless of what you might say or do.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

You were once offended and never forgave me, but I will never do that to you.

You were once offended and never forgave me – something I will never do to you.

ok. thank you all!
