Does “fall” has its ordinary meaning or does it mean “dismount” or something like that?

“I suppose anyone can fall,” said Shasta.
“I mean can you fall and get up again without crying and mount again and fall again and yet not be afraid of falling?”

It means to fall down from the horse or the vehicle they are trying to ride.

It’s not as easy to sit on a horse as it might seem. If a person is not used to it, it’s easy to fall off a horse even if the horse is standing still.
