Could you please tell the difference among variable, varied, various and variety.
giving me examples on each?

Various means ‘different’ or ‘several’: we’ve met on various occasions; there are various ways of getting to London from here.

I feel it is the same if you say
you should eat a more varied diet; we have a varied response to our questionnaire.

I think varied is used with a singular noun, but various with plural…isn’t it?
Sultano is partly right: ‘various’ refers to several (different) things and is used with plural nouns, whereas ‘varied’ can describe both singular and plural nouns.
