Alan, can you please tell me the difference between quaint and queer? Thank you

Quaint means sweet and old fashioned

Queer means unusual or strange

got it. thanks

I understood the quaint part, what I do not get is: reminded you of a time long since gone?

This means it made you remember a time in the past that was a long time ago.

It’s good to be Alan.
