this is maybe too easy question 
, but I want to be sure that I know the difference between the following words…
Proposal: First step, offer to marriage. Man asks woman for her hand.
Engagement: Second step/phase, she agreed and they’re planning the wedding.
Please correct me if I’m wrong or confirm that I’m right.
