difference between advise and advice

When you seek some kind of tips from someone it is called advise. When you receive some kind of document then it is called advice. Sometimes when we write a letter auto spell check always changes the word advise into advice. Why??? please advise

“Advise” is the verb and “advice” the noun. There is no difference with respect to oral or written communication. Spell checks are notoriously deficient. The word simply may not be included in the one you use. They often lack common words.
