Did I phrase the following sentences correctly?

  • I want to verify what you have told me earlier about the room was previously used as a dining room?
  • I want to verify what I was told earlier about the room was previously used as a dining room?
  • I want to verify the information that you gave me earlier with regards to this room was previously used as a dining room?
  • I told my son that I was his age before, so I understand how he feels. (Can I say I was his age before or should I say I was at his age before?)
  • The town has adopted tourism as its main/primary industry.
  • The town has adopted tourism and its main economy sector.

Did I phrased the above sentences correctly? Please advise

I want to verify what you have told me earlier about the room that had previously been used as a dining room.

I told my son that once I was the same age he is now to ensure him that I understand how he feels.

The town has made tourism their/its main/primary industry.
