Hi Teachers,

I am sorry to post so many and long dialogues for you to help me correct them, but your help is really valuable to me. I’d like to post another one for today.

  1. Is “seven double rooms and two single rooms” better?
  2. Is “Preparing the room keys” better?
  3. Is “individual bill guarantee” better?
  4. Is “each room” better?
  5. Is “bill” or “hotel bill” better?
  6. Is “that allow to smoke” better?

  1. Is “seven double rooms and two single rooms” better?
    It’s fine as it is. The fact that they are rooms would be assumed. It’s the manner in which hotel rooms are commonly discussed.
  2. Is “Preparing the room keys” better?
    It’s an alternative which has a better ‘flow’.
  3. Is “individual bill guarantee” better?
    No. Personally I would use. "individual deposit’.
  4. Is “each room” better?
    Either is fine.
  5. Is “bill” or “hotel bill” better?
    I think so, yes.
  6. Is “that allow to smoke” better?
    “Is smoking allowed in any of them?”

There are only a small number of other points to make, as outlined below. I have left the paragraph about the beds in the room as it stands, but in general (in the UK at least) the following terms are understood:
twin room - one room, 2 single beds.
double room - one room, 1 double bed.
single room - one room, 1 single bed.

Saito: Hi.
Front desk clerk: Good morning/afternoon/evening, Ma’am.
Saito: We’d like to check in. We have a reservation under the name of “JATA Tour” made by our tour operator ABC Overseas Travel. We have seven doubles and two singles reserved.
Front desk clerk: One moment please. So, that will be seven doubles and two singles for three nights, right?
Saito: That’s right.
Front desk clerk: May I have a look at everyone’s passport?
Saito: Sure, here you are.
Front desk clerk: A second please. (Getting the room keys ready) These are your room keys. The room numbers and names are printed on the envelope. And now I’d like you to make an individual payment guarantee deposits on each room. You could let us take a photocopy of your credit card, or make it with cash. In the latter case, we take 40 euros for one room per night. Of course, it will be deducted from your payment bill when you check out. In addition, would you like wake-up calls?
Saito: Well, first I’d like to ask you a few questions if I may. As for With regard to our rooms, is there any of them allowing smoking is smoking allowed in any of them? And also, I believe all of the seven double rooms have two beds and all the single rooms also have two beds, right? And do all the rooms have a bathtub?
Front desk clerk: No smoking is allowed throughout our hotel. All of the double rooms have two beds, one of the single rooms has a double bed and the other has two beds. Of course all our rooms are equipped with a bathroom and bath.

‘It’ = the deposit.
‘Them’ or ‘they’ wouldn’t work as clearly.

It’s okay, but in an earlier passage you changed JATA Tour to JATA Tours. You should probably do the same here.
