In this example sentence, the semi-colon is inappropriate because what comes after the semi-colon is only a phrase rather than an independent clause.
In my opinion no punctuation is required, but I am not sure whether a comma can replace the semi-colon or otherwise. Could you please fix this problem?

Yes, I agree, the semicolon is not right. I think some punctuation is desirable though. I would use a dash or a colon.
