Hi,

Please help verify this: ‘cravat’, ‘ascot’, and ‘tie’ mean the same thing, but ‘cravat’ and ‘tie’ are British English and ‘ascot’ is American English?

I think an ascot is a cravat, but a tie and a cravat are not the same.

cravat (two styles: one without a pin and one with a pin)
