Could you help me with these expressions?

Hi guys,

what is the difference between as evident by and as evidenced by?

Thank you

Gil

‘Evident’ and ‘evidenced’ are adjectives used to show that something is clear to the vision or understanding, or shown to be true.
‘Evidenced’ is used in this way in the US more than it is in the UK, I believe.

Here are examples of their usage:

“It is evident by the questions Zuoyao asks that he is a very hard-working English student.”

“Zuoyao is a hard working student, as evidenced by the questions he asks.”

“Zuoyao’s desire to speak perfect English is evidenced by his searching questions.”

“It is evident by his searching questions that Zuoyao has a desire to speak perfect English.”

Thank you this is informative.

However, I googled a sentence.
Committees and diverse classes are keys to success, as evident by WisconsinÕs Black Earth Creek Longbeards Women in the Outdoors event.

I found them sometimes interchangeable.
