Correct the sentences

I looked at my last english question papers and tried to correct some sentences. Please correct the sentences if i did wrong.

  1. He is the most cleverest boy in the class.

Correction : He is the cleverest boy in the class.

  1. Your writing is inferior than him.

Correction : Your writing is inferior than his.

  1. The teacher gave the boy an advice which he refused.

Correction : The teacher gave the boy an advice which he had refused.

  1. He brought the articles to the market which he wnated to sell.

Correction : No idea about this sentence

  1. John as well as Sara were late.

Correction : John as well as Sara was late.

  1. I have met him last month.

Correction : I think this sentence is correct.

  1. Nothing but novels please him.

Correction : Nothing pleases him but novels.

( Nothing is considered as singural so we must use * pleases * )

  1. Your writing is inferior to his.
  2. The teacher gave the boy b advice[/b] which he refused.
  3. He brought the articles that he wanted to sell to the market.
    6) I met him last month.

I have some questions please.

Why don’t we use * have * with * met * ? I have met him last month.

Do we always use some or any with advaice? The teacher gave the boy ( some ) advice which he refused.

Why don’t we use * have * with * met * ? b[/b] I have met him last month.– You cannot use present perfect when a specific past time (‘last month’) is mentioned.

Do we always use some or any with advaice? The teacher gave the boy ( some ) advice which he refused.-- A native speaker usually uses ‘some’ or ‘any’, but it is not necessary. The point is that ‘advice’ is a non-count noun.
