I was look at past question papers of my English examination. There are the incorrect sentences. Please correct the following sentences for me and give a brief explanation about the mistake. Thanks

  1. My brother’s only help were his friends.

  2. These two boys hate one another.

  3. We should pray God every morning.

  4. It is half past five in my watch.

  5. He availed of the leave.

  6. He visited many worth-seeing places.

  7. Neither he comes, nor he writes.

  8. Why he wrote that foolish letter?

  9. I shall stay at Murree for few days.

  10. He only is responsible for this act.

  11. Please tell me where is your brother?

How about trying to correct them yourself first, Basitpasha? I have underlined the problem areas:

  7. Neither he comes, nor he writes. – You need to do a lot of re-arranging here.

  11. Please tell me where is your brother?

  10. Only he is responsible for this act.

  11. Please tell me where your brother is? - May be we must not put a question mark here.
