Here are the two definitions of “concerned”:

Meaning #1 - the authorities concerned.
Meaning #2 - the concerned authorities.

Entirely your call which one to choose (depends on what you mean).

thanks for your concern.but i had already looked up.So,according to this dictionary,“the concerned authorities” mean "the anxious or worried authorities"meaning that the authorities have been told about the case and are worried about it.As to the other sentence,"the authorities concerned"should mean "the authorities which are in any way invovled or interested in handling that kind of case mentioned"Am i getting it right,sir?pleast correct me if i am wrong.someone help me with this.

As far as I can tell, you’ve got it right.
Concerned parents/citizens = conscious, worried about the well-being of their kids/the country.
Parties concerned = parties involved in something (that have to do with something).

The murdered(adj) man is Raman.
The man murdered(adj) is Raman. (wrong)
The fallen(adj) lion was taken to the zoo.
The lion fallen(adj) was taken to the zoo.(weird)
The repaired(adj) car was picked up by its owner.(OK)
The car repaired(adj) was picked up by its owner. (weird)
Mostly the adjectives are placed before nouns as shown above.
But ‘concerned’(adj) can be placed before and after noun with different meanings.
Am I right?
