Cliff and ravine

I don’t know how to complete a sentence. Could you please help me?

  • She was drunk, drove her car over a cliff on Mulholland drive and ended up somewhere beneath.

The phrase in bold isn’t correct. What would you replace it with? I already know that cliffs often near the side of a sea or ocean.

If you want to use “ravine” you could say “… and ended up at the bottom of the ravine.”

Thanks for answering, but can you use another word for ‘ravine’?

“… ended up halfway down the slope.” “… ended up somewhere beneath the roadway.”

Thanks Luschen for shedding some light to this.

You are welcome. By the way, the correct idiom is “shedding some light on this”.
