can you help me to understand this word.

I don’t understand the exact meaning of word “being”. can you help me to understand it.

Does [color=darkred]being my roommate also involve tracking my every move? NO, but [color=darkred]being your curious little sister does.

Let me rewrite those sentences so you might understand them:

Do you think that because you are my roommate you are allowed to track very move of mine? No, but since I’m your curious little sister I think I’m entitled to just doing that.

Please let me know if this helps.

Many thanks,
