I’m not sure, but I think it’s OK as-is.
When quoting written text, it should be quoted exactly as it was originally written. Since this was spoken, I think the punctuation should try to mimic what was said. In this case, an exclamation mark matches “shouted”.
Same with the comma. It should reflect whether or not there was a pause when spoken.
