Can "of" substitute "with"?

The two witnesses were close friends with Ms Fang and she had told them about Ong before, but they did not know him personally.

Can “of” substitute “with”?

They have a slightly different meaning, but they are used interchangeably. Either one is fine.

I think it will be of Ms Fang’s if ‘of’ is to be used.
