Can I phrase the sentences in such a way?

  1. These two colors matches well together.
  2. These two colors are good match.
  3. These two colors are matching colors.

I am learning to use the words match, matches and matching to construct the above sentences without using the ’ go well together’.

Simply say: “These two colours match.” Meaning that they look attractive together.

I tend to recast them as below:

  1. These two colors match better together. (than, perhaps, when they are separate)
  2. These two colors are a good match.
  3. These two colors are the matching ones. (Or ‘These two colors are matching.’)
