Can this word -calculative be used in this context?
The kids are calculative about who should do the extra house chores by listing all the housework that they have done today.

“calculating” is far more common. “calculative” doesn’t even seem to make it into most dictionaries.
The construction "The kids are … by " doesn’t seem quite right, and nor does the use of “today” in a timeless statement. I think I would change it to something like:
“The kids are calculating about who should do the extra house chores, and list all the housework that they do every day.”
I’m assuming that you want the “scheming” / “conniving” meaning of “calculating”, rather than the plain “doing the arithmetic” meaning.
