by herself, only herself, on her own, or other. P.S. the meaning is that none esle was in.

She was sitting at home on her own.
She was sitting alone at home.

    Do #1 and #2 mean #3?
    Can I not say:

The first three all mean the same.
The fourth contains a redundancy. You don’t need ‘alone’ and ‘by herself’.
You can also say:
She was sitting at home, alone.
