Perhaps the patient’s name which I am unable to discern!
To me it sound like ‘yep’.
It does sound like: yea, spoken very quickly. You can clearly a nasal sound.
I hear something like “nyp”. He’s just making a sound. He might be intending to say “yeh” or “yep” or “yup”.
Actually, now, I think that CHIPS may tend to make a sort of “um” or nasal type sound when he starts to talking, as if he’s a little unsure.
Perhaps he intends to say “yup”, but it’s so short it could be any of these possibilities.
The patient sounds like our old friend CHIPS, so it’s surprising that he has a heart at all.
Btw, perhaps your audio clip was cut short at the beginning, but the Doctor doesn’t say “But” on it.
