bovine look

“Why do you look like the bovine after doing all these mischief?”
Is this sentence OK?

It should be “all this mischief”.

“look like the bovine” is weird. “bovine” is a technical or scientific word that seems out of place, and the whole thing has the feel of an idiom that has been directly translated from another language and makes no sense in English.

Actually, it seems “bovine look” is a known phrase of sorts. I am not sure quite what it is supposed to mean; it seems to be used in a variety of situations. However, one would not say “look like the bovine”.

I would understand ‘have a bovine look’ literally but don’t think it works in this context.
