I have four parrots. Two females and two males. I put them in two different cages to pair them. When they start liking each other, they feed each other and after a few days they start mating and laying eggs. Is the word pair correct? If it is correct, I want to write the below sentence as a title.
The question is how you define ācomfirmed coupleā and what signs you are referring to. Maybe itās better to simply say āit looks like we two of the parrots of have coupledā or āit seems as if we have a parrot coupleā.
I will write it as the title of a video. In the video, the parrots are feeding each other which is a sign that they are couple now. So, can I use āSigns of a confirmed parrot coupleā or should I use it without āconfirmedā?
For me ācoupleā usually indicates a human couple as in a āmarried coupleā āelderly couple ā āyoung coupleā and so on. I think you should stick to āpairā when describing birds - perhaps - breeding pair or established pair.
