what is the difference between bibliogrophy and reference ? are they same?
thank you!
Both terms are related in the sense that a reference is a direction for further information and this reference can be a bibliography, that is, a list of books (or articles) referring to a special subject. These books, where you can look up information, are reference books.
The term “reference” used for works from which a part of material is used or
specific material is located. All information about the work along with page
numbers are included in the “references” of a thesis or dissertation.
Bibliography is the collection of related works for general reading. Specific page
numbers will not be given.
