Dear Mr Torsten,
I am here for the first time. Thanks for your Free e-mail English course. It is a wonderful thing for all of us who want to improve our English. I am sure that your lessons will help me, because your listening skils and all the other are what I need.
Coud you tell me what is the best way to find translation of some of the words (from English to Croatian, because I am from Bosnia and herzegovina and Croatian or Serbs look like my mother tongue, Bosnian language). I use eudict.com, but mybe you have better solution.
The second thing I would like to ask you is how can I know that you answerd to my questions ?
Best regards and thank you in advance,
Ahmet

Hello Ahmet,

Many thanks for your feedback and your questions. I think your the online dictionary you referenced is quite good since it seems to offer translations into your native language. As for your second question, yes you can use the forum as I have done with your first posts.

Dear Torestn
thank you for your new lesson, i find it very usefull for me.
I have a small suggestions:
For the vacuplary tests, why not get the wards in sentances? because by looking the ward as an indevidual ward may not helps the persone when he need it, the opisite is true due to my experiance, it is easy to get attend the ward when you speaks or write only when you find this new ward in a topic not as indivedual wards.
may be this suggestion is not good enough but it is very usefull for me to be able to write what I think it is true!!

Dear Sadig Sati,

Many thanks for your suggestion. On site you will find hundreds of tests that show how words and phrases are used in context. Here is an example of such a test: Speaking already.

As you can see, this test contains 10 sentences. So in total, you will find thousands of sentences that show how words and phrases are used in context. How many of those sentences have you read so far?

Best regards,
Torsten[YSaerTTEW443543]

Hello, everyone!
I’m Azra

My answers are:

Sue usually starts her work at 8:45 in the morning.
Sue enjoys the personal contact with her clients because they come from all walks of life and all ages.

Good morning Khalidhrr, it is unfortunate that you do not have a headset and microphone.

You have shown that you have good writing skills, and I complement you on having progressed so far.

The whole point of the listening exercise, is that you listen closely to the voice. You hear the pronunciation clearly, and then you show that you fully understand the questions with your response.

Having the text written down would not serve the intended purpose of the exercise. I’m sure you could buy a good headset quite cheaply in India. Failing that, most Internet Cafe’s usually have sets on the desk for their customers to use.

Please do your best to obtain one, and let us hear your voice.

Good luck. Kitosdad.
