'at the stage' or 'in the stage'

Hello

1.Which is correct ‘in this stage of the disease’ or ‘at this stage of the disease’?

2.Is this sentence correct?- The parameter was determined in all groups of the patients including the control one.

Thanks

  1. depends on the overall contexct, but most commonly ‘at this stage’ would be correct.

  2. I would slightly revise it:
The parameter was determined in all groups of patients, including the control group.

The product is at/in the design stage.
In/at one stage it looked as though they would win.
What is the difference between them.

In the second of those sentences only ‘at’ is correct.
