Dear respected teachers,
Could you explain what difference is between the following two sentences by adding and removing the preposition ‘AT’
1- I hope I am as contented as him when I am his age.
2- I hope I am as contented as him when I am AT his age.
My understanding is ‘I am his age’ means my age is exactly equal to his while ‘I am at his age’ means my age is approximate his age. Is this understanding correct, please?
Thanks,
KK
