Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

[color=blue]1. We are of the mindset that it is better to be dealt with the issue right now.

  1. Does being a big guy help here?

  2. Unfortunately that causes us to loose on some sale opportunities.

  1. Here you seem to have mixed up active and passive. You can say:

“We are of the mindset that it is better to deal with the issue right now.”
“We are of the mindset that the issue is better dealt with right now.”

The expression “We are of the mindset that” sounds jargony and would not be to everyone’s taste.

  2. I’m guessing you mean “Unfortunately that causes us to lose some sale opportunities.”
