Are these sentences correct. Please take a look at them.

Hi everyone,

  • On Wednesday, 24th August it’ll be exactly 439 years to the day since the Massacre of St. Bartholomew.

Or should it simply be: -On Wednesday, 24th August it is exactly 439 years to the day since the Massacre of St. Bartholomew

Let’s imagine for a moment that it is already 24th August:
-It’s 24th August which is exactly 439 years to the day since the massacre of St. Bartholomew.

For those members who do not know what the Massacre of St. Bartholomew was, I would like to explain briefly; on that day the Huguenots (Protestants) were slaughtered in thousands, as it were, on the orders of the French Catholic King Charles IX.

Now my last sentence:

  • Isn’t it funny? She’s been waiting for a father for twenty years; suddenly three come along at once. (from the film Mamma Mia)

Thanks
Alexandro

All the sentences are okay.
