Are the following sentences correct:

  • If the child is ill what better person to cure him than a doctor.
  • What better person to ask to solve this grammatical mistake than a grammarian.

If the sentences are not correct, would you be so kind as to give me an alternative or correct them.

Thanks Beeesneees, but can you also say: ‘What better instrument to use to cut paper than (a pair) of scissors?’

Yes, but ‘of’ should be included within the parentheses rather than outside them. They all sound extremely formal though.
