Are both sentences grammatically correct?

  1. I would like to change my bank account where my salary is deposited.
  2. I would like to change my bank account in which I receive my salary.

They are both grammatically correct.

The first one is preferred. Although I would change my bank account to the bank account.

The second one is overly formal and a little awkward. It’s not “incorrect” but people don’t talk that way. It would sound pretentious.
