Are both sentences correct?
Thanks

Both are probably correct, but I much prefer the first. The second sounds a bit stuffy.
Just out of curiosity, do Singapore and Malaysia have an open border? Can people in Singapore travel freely into Malaysia? If not then they are stuck in a very small space unless they can afford to travel by plane or ship.
They have a common border.
What I mean by open border is how easy it is to cross. Like do they need a passport? A Visa? Or just an ID?
I’d say both are correct.
