any more or anymore/ how long or for how long?

Which form is the correct one in these sentences:

  1. She used to read a lot when she was a pupil but now she doesn’t any more /anymore.?
  2. How long/ For how long has he been living in this town?

  2. Both are possible.
  1. She used to read a lot when she was a pupil but now she doesn’t any more.
  2. She used to read a lot when she was a pupil.

Is the bold phrase redundant as “used to” itself has included that meaning?
Is #2 a good sentence?

No really, because the person might be going on to say something like:

She used to read a lot when she was a pupil. That has really helped develop her knowledge of books which she needs for her current job.
She used to read a lot when she was a pupil. These days, she reads even more!
She used to read a lot when she was a pupil. That explains her vast general knowledge.
She used to read a lot when she was a pupil. She still does though her taste in genres has changed.
