Another suggestion, General Chat category

I just joined in this forum and this is my second post. I registered in many forums and typically a forum has "General Chat " category or something similar like “Lounge” and “Kick Back and Relax.” Now I know that having a category like that can get messy, but I think it’s a good exercise to talk about whatever you want to talk about to learn English. Shouldn’t there be a place like that in this forum? Just a suggestion.

Hi Ooen! I cannot open the link!!!

I’m sorry, what do you mean? Which link can you not open?

Dear Ooen,

This forum is open for anyone who seeks professional advice on language related questions and there is already one category called ‘What would you like to talk about?’ Here you can post your ideas and thoughts and exchange experiences with others.[YSaerTTEW443543]

Hi Bugi,

Why do you think anyone would like talk about your insurance offers in this forum? Your English seems to be good enough to understand what our forum is all about. If not I suggest you take some of Alan’s tests. You probably know how we feel about spam, that’s why your URL has been removed again.[YSaerTTEW443543]

hii can we chat with the membersof English online?i mean in yahoo or in gtalk or msn? I believe it will help a lot in improving the fluency of talking English right??? from where can i find a link of the members to chat with’em?

Amalmusica, you can only chat with them by first sending a PM, which you will find by clicking on the persons name, then you can arrange a meeting on Skype or other medium.

It might help improve your fluency (although not necessarily) but it definitely will decrease your accuracy. In other words, you will develop a lot of ‘bad language habits’ that are very difficult if not impossible to correct later.[YSaerTTEW443543]
