Hi Alan, this is a new expression for me and I think it describes something very unattractive or even appaling that you wouldn’t go near. As far as I know we don’t have a similar saying in Russian.

Hi Natali,

You are absolutely right as it suggests you don’t want anything to do with something which is obviously highly suspicious and probably illegal.
