Hello sir,
I was wondering if you would amend my integrated essay.
Thanks in advance
The author explains that the reason why Anasazi vanished is war. However, the speaker, explains away the reasons that are mentioned in the article. He states that Anasazi’s disappearance is due to water shortage.
First, the author points out that some tribes invaded Anasazi and set their settlements and ritual sites on fire. However, the professor says that there is not so much evidence in their settlements that prove that there was a war. Furthermore, he states that Anasazi burned its ritual sites to invoke their God to increase the precipitation. Second, the reading claims that Anasazi people buried their personal articles because they did not have the time to gather their belongings as a result of an outbreak of war. However, the professor opposes this view and says that Anasazi people buried their belongings because they did not need them any longer. They left their homes because of water shortage in search of a new place.
Third, the passage states that Anasazi had an enormous source of water. Consequently, other tribes invaded it in order to capture their water sources. However, the professor points out that because of their early prosperity, Anasazi’s population was dramatically increased. As a result, when they underwent a severe drought, they did not have enough water for the huge population. Therefore, their power declined and they consequently disappeared.
