I would like to know if there’s any difference when I use “with” without along. For example in the sentence “Come along with me” can I omit the word “along” and say “Come with me”? Thank you!
Yes, you can omit ‘along’ which indicates that the person should accompany you… a concept which is inferred in that sentence anyway.
