Dear Alan and Torsten.
Thank you very much for your essay. I find it very useful. I do not find difficult to read and understand your essay because I understand all the words in the essay. All the words you used is very regular used so I can understand clearly whole the essay.
I can make some expressions used in my native language: “a sea of people”, " a sea of knowlege", etc. I know that the sea meaning very large, very huge.
About the differences of “sea” and “ocean”, as many people I also think sea and Ocean all mean very large place of water. Sea is smaller than Ocean. Sea can be a part of Ocean or it can be separate, it can be an entity large place.
Once again, Thank you for your lessons and I hope to learn more from you.

Did you mean that the ending of apartheid in South Africa was a dramatic alteration taking place that affected many people because many people had died in that period?
Can we use the expression ‘a sea change’ in other situations?

I gave the example to show that the ending of apartheid was an enormous change. I wasn’t referring to the effect.

Hello everyone;
I did not share with you for few months.
I was very busy taking course at work.
I missed you very much.
Now, concerning the sea,
I have a condominum apartment 2 bedroom, 2 washrooms plus a den (Office).
I want to downsize, first because it is big for me and second the maintenance fees are based on squarefeets, very expensive for me.
I have to organize my stuff, get rid of anything I do not use. It is on listing now, so I have visitors on short time notice.
I also put my extra bedroom for sale on Kijiji. Also, I put my car for sale on Kijiji.
I am all at sea!

I am sinking in a sea of thoughts and worries.
