Affect something badly or Affect badly something

“Affect the environmental badly” or “affect badly the environment”

I am a bit confused since it is Adjective->Noun->Verb->Adverb so it should be “affect badly the environment” right? But I think the former is better.

Badly affect the environment. ( Preferred )
The modifier “badly” is directly before the verb “affect”.

Affect the environment badly. ( Acceptable and commonly used )

Affect badly the environment. ( Not acceptable )

You can also use the noun form “effect”. In this case the adverb “badly” will change to the adjective “bad”.

A bad effect on the environment.
