Hello, can you explain to me what is the difference between “admit to ving” and “admit ving”
I look the word “admit” in the Oxford Dictionary and I found this

And can you tell me in this sentence “He admitted … the care” is “stealing” or “to stealing” the correct answer?

It always depends on the context. Here are some examples:

*He admitted to stealing. *
*He admits that he stole. *
He admits to the theft.
