I am not at all happy with ‘above said’ or ‘abovesaid’.
The word ‘abovesaid’ is often found commonly used especially in legal parlance to refer to something or someone already mentioned or defined in detail. Could you elucidate why it is not a good expression. Is it because the word ‘said’ in it doesn’t sound as good as ‘stated’ or ‘mentioned’?
My reluctance to accept it on this forum is that it is really too specialised.
