a long time later OR after a long time

Hi,

Could you help me if it’s correct like this?

I know we’re going to meet just a long time later.

Or is it better?

I know we 're going to meet just after a long time.

Or is there another way which is better? Because for me both sentences seem so strange.

Thanks
Liza

I think both sentences are okay, as long as you put a comma before “just”.

But they’re still ok without the comma, aren’t they?

No, you need the comma.
