I learning english because i want to study abroad, especially in USA. Moreover, one of the requirements is the toefl scores must a least 600 (paper based) and 100 (internet based). I only get 69. I hope can improve my english better when i follow this courses. Thanks all…GBU
I improve my english because it is a medium of instruction in sout africa and it use all south african university as language of lecturing. i want to make more freinds who are english speakers.

2.Since [color=red]I was in high school, I [color=red]have used a computer and the internet to help me with my assignments
Gramatically, I think that both “1” and “2” are corrects.
What do you think about that?

Both statements are correct because the first is still in High school and the second passed High school that is my analysis of the two statements.

I want to improve my English because this school year I´m going to take the school leaving exam in English and then, I´d like to enter a university where there are many lectures in English, also, English is highly required in society in general…who doesn´t speak English, the one is simply “out”. I´d like to take the TOEFL as well,in order to have the possibility to be admitted to a better foreign university, but I don´t think, I´m able to manage it now. I hope, I will be able in summer, if I keep lerning as hard as I only can. Till now, I´ve noticed a subtle improvement thanks to reading books in English an watching TV, particularly sit-coms and documentaries.

It’s very intreresting question “Why I want to improove my English skills” because I have many different reasons that to learn English more and more every day.
At first: I am studying at master’s degree courses in oncology. And every day I have to learn many new information about cancer treatment and new drugs. But every new information is in English and it would be faster to read it in English while it is wiil be translated into native language.
At second:English is language of world communication and most pepople talk in English in many corrners of our planet. So, I want to understand them and talk to them independently from theirs religion, race, native language.
At third: I like to learn English because from all amount of languages I suppose it’s more popular than others.
At last: I like this language because I simply love it.
That is why I want to improove my English skills!!!

Why i want to speak in english.English is the language which is spoken by the maximum people.Even small children also talk in english because it is very practical language.In every field they need to know english.So from the bigining they are in english school. so they are fluient in english.They dont understand.They ask G Maa why cant you talk in english? You feel disgusted.Any were you go you need english,and if you cant talk fluently nobody will take you seriously.This is the reason why i want to learn english,and for my satisfaction also.Learning somthing is not a bad idea.

I wrote a little be in the forum but I understand all the exercises, sometime I read the other explanation in the forum and I got it. There are diferent between learn English with a teacher in the classroom and internet but I’m practicing. I studied for eight hours in my house everyday so I think I’m getting better.

I’ve been America for 5 years. English is a barrier to find a nice job, communicate with people, enjoy English literature and watch movies in USA. I also want to be a pertinent cross-culture bridge. English is so important in my daily life.
I’ve tried to listen, write, and read as possible as I could. The improvement is so slightly sensible. English improvement is long way to go especially for older I guess.
Although the learning process is painful, I want to improve English. I’ve committed “never old to learn English” since I came to USA.
I’d appreciate if anyone provide a correction for the note above.

You are right friend, I always think that I can do mistakes when I send any post, or any message in this forum.
But at the same time I know if I don’t practice more and let myself to face the chance to improving my skills,
I will not to get my goals.

I am working as a statistician for an organization. I usually write reports on different issues. I do have frequent contact with english speaking individuals for different purposes. Office working language in my country is English. So I need to have adquate English language knowledge for all purpose.

First of all i want to improve my english cause its international language. I can communicate with people and it will give me some more opportunities because it will be easy. I want to speak and write english thats why its important to me. But as i can say still it is soo difficult i dont know how some people can write and speak fluent english. I work with a team supporting customer in UK, USA & Australia. So it’s my strong feel that i should improve my English to wing confidence of my customer, at present am very poor in speaking & writing.

you had asked me for the reasons of studying English? actually there are many reasons for that:-
first of all, i am a chemist and my work is extensively use English-written materials therefore one should be comfortable with the languish to do well in his work
second, the internet became an essential part of many people, and owing to the fact that many sites are exhibited in English; grasping good knowledge in English is important to navigate freely.
last but not least, i am preparing for upcoming Toefl exam to complete my study abroad which imply studying English to earn a high score in the exam.
know, these are my reasons, can anyone check them for errors and reply to me!!!
