Your descriptions of your country’s ways and processes were very interesting to hear. You sure have a wide understanding of the history of your country and your way to explain it made it very clear.
It seems like democracy there, has gone a long way and now it works very well to let the people have the necessary participation in governing their own lives.
Here in my country we have been practicing democracy for far less time. So we still have a long way to go ’ till we can deal with our problems in such a mature way.
But we sure have developed a lot during the last twenty years.
Hi Mauricio
Just a quick reply - I’m busy today with all the events and preparations for New Year’s Day, but many thanks for your message!
I’ll get back to you a.s.p.
Too bad that Java still doesn’t seem to work!
Cheers Urs

Have a happy New Year.

I enjoyed video, which Mauricio have sent to me very much but it was about the city of Yakutsk - the capital of Yakut Republic of Russia. Irkutsk is situated to the South of Yakutsk and its citizens rarely experience temperatures that are lower than 40 degrees below zero. But in Yakutsk in winter temperatures lower 50 degrees are quite usual. Not too far from Yakutsk the pole of cold of Russia is situated (Oymyakon Valley) and the lowest temperature of this place was 71 degrees below zero (measured by Obruchev the Academician).
In the photoes the Ice Town of Irkutsk is shown. It was built not far from the hydroelectric power plant of Irkutsk. Such a pity that in spring this beauty will melt away. There is another Ice Town right in the center of Irkutsk.
it is good idea to remove the shame from beginner non native speakeras as per my small experience I saw that you are always bring good things for this forum …
