"you are" vs "you are being"

My friend, he is working in a company in some rare technology. Then, which of the below sentence(s) is/are correct?

  1. you can highlight the rare technology in which you are experienced
    Or
  2. you can highlight the rare technology in which you are being experienced. (since he still works with the rare tech., we prefer (2) ?)

Hi,

There is a confusion here between ‘experienced’ as an adjective and ‘experience’ as a verb. Can you explain what you want to say?

Alan

I meant that he is getting experience in the rare technology. I used ‘experienced’ as a verb. Is it that the answer to your question.
Thank You Alan.
